Hello Dear Friends.

Have a little question, maybe you can help.

Some days ago we installed Adjustable Camber Arms (Silverproject) on my Car. (That is W210, but as i know these are the same for all 210/124/201/208 and e.t.c..).

Now my question is following:

I know that when installing OE Style Arms on the suspension the bolts must be tighten under the pressure.

But what to do in this case, when you are installing arms with Polyurethane bushings.

Attached you can see the image of the arms i've mounted on my car (Also you can see how it looks when installed).

They have poly bushings inside with metal sleeves.

To the car subframe i tightened them without any pressure, just with a hand feeling (about 70Nm). It is impossible to use torque wrench there due to the restricted place.
To the wheel carrier i tightened them with a pressure, i mean that i placed jack under the rear control arm, jacked it and then tightened M12 (bolt nut) with also 70Nm.

Is it ok? How you think? Should i be nervous not to tighten first bolt which secures arm to the subframe without loaded suspension?

Hope you can help.

If the poly bushes are not bonded to the outer shell, you don't need to have the suspension loaded when tightening.

Rubber bushes are bonded and will "twist", these must have the suspension loaded so that there is no tention/twisting when the vehicle is in the "ready to drive" position.

Today i removed everything and reinstalled them. Tightened the bolt with pressed suspension. Both of the.
Now it's time to replace Toe arms, also with adjustable ones.

Thank you very much. I asked manufacturer about these, but they do not respond. So, i decided to remade the job.
