Rough running - Missfire / Blue Smoke?

Hi Guys,

Today I started my 500E and immediately it hesitated to run properly. It's misfiring quite badly and there's blue smoke when running.

I have had this issue before, when, I have been driving for a while, the car has started to miss quite badly - I'm not sure what the issue is.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

FYI -
  1. Fuel Pumps have been changed at least 1 year ago
  2. Caps / Rotor arms have been changed 1 year ago
  3. Ignition Coils have been changed 1 year ago
  4. Spark Plugs have been changed 1 year ago
  5. FPR has been changed ~2 years ago.
Any ideas? I've uploaded a small video below.

Many thanks,
Matin

I think those were done atleast 3 years ago (I think).

Would this be a moisture behind the insulator issue? I suppose I can refresh em.

I took the car out 2 days ago for a drive and it was running fine, but this morning, the above issues - a bit weird.

If the car ran fine 2 days ago, that is VERY odd. Usually, misfiring due to the insulator issue occurs when parked for 2+ weeks. You could remove them for inspection if they haven't been looked at in a long time.

Blue smoke generally means oil burning, which may or may not be related. I'll remove all 8 spark plugs for inspection and see if any are oil-fouled.
