I'm opening that topic to have some discussion about some last myths to bust on our cars. The final findings will then be posted into the WIKI.
- WOT-Signal only at kickdown. Those of you who have Digital scanner/HHT/Star-Diagnosis can see that there is a certain live-data called something like "WOT (Full Load recognition)" or "WOT Switch" and this is according to my testings of 3 W124 M119 V8 powered cars, only listed as "ON" or "activated" when you are pressing the pedal down to the kick-down switch. It doesn't matter how you set the throttle-linkage. Why is that? And what does that mean to power-development?
Picture:
- Throttle-Flap does not open fully 90° despite you having you foot pressed fully down on the gaspedal. Have only tested it with ignition-on so far, might be some sort of security-thingy (but then why?). Another reason might be that its designed that way so that each intak-runner in the Manifold gets the same amount of air, since even when closed it is at a certain angle.
Also proven in this Video about ETA wiring repairs (starting at 5:00!)

- WOT-Enrichment LH based on fixed fuel-mapping or "altered" by the self-adaption values?
Busted by Daves torough Dyno testings! WOT-enrichment is based on the fuel-mapping BUT uses the self-adaption values aswell.
