Sourcing a good 500E/E500 After 2022

I have the identical twin to your M6 - '88 schwartz/silber. 2561480, January 1988 build date. My wife has an '87 royalblau/lotusweiss - that's how we met. I saw her car on Instagram, complimented it as it was the exact spec I'd always wanted. Found mine a few months later and messaged her "Hey, I just bought one..." She was impressed!
And yes, they are a different driving experience to the 500E but both cars are very special.

The .036 Jono is talking about is utterly spectacular and if I was serious about getting back in the E500E arena, his rare color 500E would be top of the list. This car will be expensive, but you get what you pay for.
And the M6 pictured above is on the same level as Jono's 500E - I got to stare at the Bimmer for the last 2-3 years and see all the work and attention to detail Jono put into it. Spectacular.

Every time I begin to think about selling my E420 a thread like this one pops up and convinces me that both my 240D and E420 are "forever cars" I can't think of another car which I could replace them with which would bring more enjoyment. Sure my E420 needs paint and some other mostly minor work but it's such a joy to drive and is completely rust free.
