I found someone selling a set of "AMG" wheels for decent price. Wonder if there's a hard reason why most 500E's run 8.5" front and then another two inches stagger in the rear?

18x9.5 +20(?)

Also the true wonder is, if these would fit the front without rubbing anything.. lol

I don't why the vendor would have wanted MB wheels on a BMW?

I see that sillyness here too with Audi & MB wheels on Volkswagens etc. And now seen some "Ferrari" (yeah right) wheels on hoopties also. What is it supposed to mean(?) That they have a fiat punto bodykit on a Ferrari chassis?

Anyway, carry on

Lots of threads on here with Wheel Fitment specifications please use search tool

Never mind the beautiful AMG wheels on that car. It’s so slammed it looks stupid. I hope he has adjustable air bags/shocks. It. must ride and handle like crap. Looks like he is riding on the sidewalls. He must use up a set of tires every other week. I’d be afraid to go over 25 mph on that setup.

Yep, stance boys are either bagged, or drag frame lol. He didn't verify offset for me, but it would make sense that it's the higher factory offset, since he's running adaptors.

Regarding the search function, you're right. I used google and led me to another forum, then I came on here, excited with the relatively cheap cost of that set up- and posted, only to search after the fact. Thanks!

I'm not even sure how he got those wheels on the car. MB, Audi and Volkswagen use 5x112 but not BMW (5x120 on the E46 shown). So he had to use an adapter. That's a long way to go for wheels that don't fit (visually or otherwise).

maw
