Not a new idea, other forums have a thread like this where members can post new or old parts they just got for their MB or tools, brochures etc anything classic MB or workshop related.

I'll start with this rough looking set of gen-u-whine monoblocks I just got home tonight. FB marketplace for £150 all 4x so I left to get them as soon as the add appeared as they wouldn't hang around at that price :banana1:

They need restored obviously but I have a great local pro wheel shop when the time comes. I may see if they will fit one of my C124 coupes not sure what ill put them on.

Not today but a few weeks ago, as per the OP, a FBMP listing, misleading title and very little description - £30 for both not far from me.

The covers are a bit creased but the inner pages are as good as new.

I'm looking at a C126 5.6 SEC either later this or early next week so they might actually come in handy at some point...

A new radiator for my 2.5-16 Cossie. The originals are NLA as are most all aftermarket options like Nissens etc. I found the only manual radiator option left basically world wide in Autodoc: (manual radiator as in no oil cooler. And others list as "compatible," but would mean redundant oil cooler lines I didn't want that so paid 1.5x the price for a true manual radiator and the only option left by Van Wezel, International Radiators) International Radiators are a UK Company.

Another Cossie box of goodies arrived today. Among it was a Febi reboxed Stabilus steering damper. I have bought them this way for years and its great saving over the MB or even Stabilus boxed prices.

I haven't even checked the old one but I know it would have lost its gas charge some 10+ years ago!

Next week on you tube, well well.... oops too soon :)

The early manual transmission cars without AC had the smaller radiator without the transmission cooler side tank and had different mounting points...If this radiator is good for 16Vs with AC then you have stumbled upon a great item and I would be interested in one as a spare. Please keep me posted.

Thanks,

Jeff

I have since compared it to the car's original rad and test fitted it in the car. It is identical fitment to original, has the oil cooler brackets etc. I got it from autodoc: Hey, check out VAN WEZEL Engine radiator in the AUTODOC app https://m.autodoc.co.uk/van-wezel/1285683

If they don't ship direct to USA happy to assist here if I can by forwarding on from NI.

(My 190 has no AC)

Some OE parts on the ongoing refresh of my 1995 (mostly original 1995 parts, some swaps).

MAF hurt, ~$600. Old one had 2000 man. date. ETA is a rebuild of a 96M01 date (mine is 95M04 with crumbling wires.

The rest if items were relatively affordable from Laredo.

What car is this for? The ETA and MAF in the photo are not for an E500E...

A new old style DAB Bluetooth stereo for my 2.5-16

Blaupunkt was dealer fit stereo brand in our market so my 190 would have had a Blaupunkt head unit very similar to this.

I looked at the Continental stereos but this one is much nicer aesthetics IMO and has all the functionality I wanted.

I like it a lot!!!

Out of interest, how much and where did you see it for sale?

I got this old skool Blaupunkt head unit on FBMP a little while ago for £15 including postage :)

Note there are 3x modern old style Blaupunkt units. A Bremen one too which id like for my 500E.

This one is normally £350 or so but Amazon UK had it cheap at £169 -

I thought it was an old unit, missed your comment about new old style.

I’ve seen the various Blaupunkt offerings and they look great, one was £400 so I dismissed it as I listen to the engine when I’m driving my car and not the radio 😀
