Tom Hansen, Mercedes Classic Center, is retiring after 49 years in the MB parts business.

He was always VERY knowledgeable, friendly, and can still be reached at 949-598-4842. (At least until March 31)

We are glad he survived Covid and appreciate his service to our 500Eboard members over the years.

Happy Retirement Tom!

Tom is a great guy. He introduced me to David Poole in 2003 after I had a run in with an unscrupulous mechanic here in Dallas and David became one of my closest friends until he passed away in 2012. I wish him well.

CONGRATS to Tom on his RETIREMENT :wahoo:49 YEARS is a LONG TIME to be w/ one company, Whew!

Geez, being in construction most of my life the longest I’ve spent with one company is eight (8) years and I never even got a gold watch.

Tom you’ve worked long enough and deserve to spend some time in a rocking chair or to do whatever you want to fulfill your life’s dreams. It’s time to enjoy life while you still can.

I only found out about Tom’s bout with Covid when I stopped by the Classic Center last September and found the CC closed to the public. A gal came to the door and told me Tom was working from home so I called him for the part and he told me at that time he was fighting Covid and it was giving him a hard time. I glad to hear he made it thru the ordeal.

I met Tom when he worked for Caliber Mercedes in Anaheim, CA. At the time I didn’t realize that Ted Reich / Transmeister was his brother-in-law. Ted married Tom’s sister. Ted retired a couple years ago and closed his business in Orange, CA.

Tom,

Good Luck to you and all your future endeavors. :thumbsup2:
