The other day, by chance, I found water leaking into the trunk. It would have been difficult to notice if not for removing the carpet and trim and noticing water pooling in the spare tire well. Guys, please check your seals everywhere. I can't stress this enough, especially for those of you who live in a high moisture environment. I had a severe corrosion problem a few years ago with my battery area and I certainly don't want to deal with rust anymore. As for my seal it's only a $30 piece, but I have to remove all the rust around the perimeter and properly prime the area before installation. I enjoy the wrenches but I despise doing rusty body work. I'm thinking this might be a professionals job.
