Vibration at speed and hard acceleration

Hello all

I have quite a bad vibration (which feels like it's coming from the rear) at about 130-140km/h +. I also experience this on hard acceleration from standstill. Any ideas?

I have not changed the tyres or had laser alignment done. However the fact that I experience it at hard throttle tells me it is mechanical or rubber bushes which have flex.

I have replaced the engine mounts (Lemforder) and gearbox mount (MB) and the car seriously feels so much better, but still have this niggly vibration I'd like to sort. Flex discs look ok (visually) without removal. What else could cause this type of vibration? It's not a hummmm it's an actual vibration.

Any advice would be most appreciated, especially consumables which could take a beating and need changing (diff carrier bushes look OK but could be tired I guess).

Cheers

Bill

Uneven tire wear can cause this or something in the main shaft that comes from the gearbox to the differential is broken.
I have this in my CL55 currently as well. It is even more pronounced when i accelerate slight on a long route up on a hill... The whole car vibrates then like crazy which is extremly annoying.
I suspect its the middle shaft bearing or the front flex disc (rear was recently replaced).

On my 500E i have rhytmic vibrations at lower speeds only and i suspect that my main shaft is unbalanced at the car somehow, it looked already slightly bent as i was changing engines and inspected it from below.
