What rear differential have you got in your car?

I haven't done my homework, it would take way too long going through the 1,559 posts (on your owner's thread) to find out..
If you wish to mention that detail, please (?)

To me, 1,750rpm at ca. 98-100 kph (true speed by looking at the needle) seem quite low for standard 2.82 ratio - unless it's very much downhill and the convertor would allow that lot of slip at no-throttle.

Thx
Alberto

I was really looking forward to reading your reply @Lowman

..saw the e-mail this morning with the announcement, then looked into thread - could only read a sentence "..my car is totally standard.." I think, but I wanted to know more..

Page then seemed to suddenly refresh itself - post is gone, I don't know if unintentionally or maybe not (?] 🤷🏽‍♂️🙏🏽👍🏽

I posted a reply, but wanted to rewrite the reply, but never got around to. Been a hectic day
Ill get back tomorrow 🙂

Oh, thanks for taking the time to rewrite your posted reply 😃
No problem :)
My car is totally original, with the rear diff ratio beeing the 2.82 standard ratio
The picture does show the revs beeing abit lower than expected. This is due to the rev counter beeing not 100 percent in working order, AND, i was also letting off the throttle a moment when taking the photo, cause beeing on the freeway is kinda not " ideal and safe" to do photos :)
I hope this clears up the picture abit :)
Appart from that,im loving the digital trip computer, though it does make for a challenge to fix the instrument cluster when the need is there...like now :)I have sourced a spare revcounter setup, as i am tryin to restore the one in the car perfectly.

Oh perfect, just keep in mind that freeway driving and phone pictures - as you very correctly stated - is a somewhat risky task!
👍🏽🙏🏽👌🏽🤗
Stay safe there on Norwegian roads this beginning of spring.. by how much margin (would you estimate) could the rev counter be reading off, like when it hits the limiter on/at an upshift (being hard/ungentle with the throttle)?
