Looking for help with the replacement of my drivers front window regulator replacement. I have ordered two different regulators (Bersa and VDO), including one from MBZ classics.
The original (broken) regulator has completely different mounting points to the door and the motor is a Bosch unit. When I spoke with both the dealer and Classic, they stated that the car should not have a Bosch unit, despite what is in my 126 (1991 420SEL). I can get replacement regulator to mount to the door, but not with the Bosch motor. Do I need to buy a different motor or is there a Bosch regulator that can still be found. The original regulator that had the Bosch motor DOES have a MBZ part number, that matches the new unit. I am baffled.
