Washer nozzle tool 110-589-02-63-00, anyone seen one?

Cheers all!

This is a bit "overengineered" imo, but what do I know... Somehow, w211 and W219 cars (surely many other modern MB cars) have adjustable washer nozzles, that require a special tool 110 589 02 63 00 based on the manual. I can't find a picture of this little illusive tool. :yayo:

Anyone ever seen one? Link to the picture? Alternative tool or procedure to adjust these little boogers?

Regards,
D

Google shows it as a telescopic widget that plugs into the nozzle, so you can tell where it will contact the glass.

Theres an aftermarket tool from OTC or Klann which is for adjusting only, without the telescopic function.

Anyone want to shell out $85 to buy the OE version? :spend:

Thanks Dave!

I've seen "listing" for MB tool, $85, no pictures, couldn't figure out what it does, but now, I see OTC tool, it just a simple precision "needle" that rotates the nozzle outlet to adjust the position of the sprayer!

Perfectly fine with OTC, will order that!

I ordered an inexpensive set of wires from the uncle of @gsxr (Kent?). They do the job. One wire unplugs the nozzle and the other is stiff enough to insert and move the nozzle around to position. But it sounds cool to have the real deal.

I have the Klaan version for quite a long time, works well. This is really a one and done type of adjustment unless you get product jammed up in there or you mix your own fluid with hard water that calcifies the nozzle for lack of use.

The top one almost looks like a MIG welding wire... For the bottom, a large safety pin like this one may work? https://www.amazon.com/Wuuycoky-100...jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
Really wasnt sure of how this particular MB tool operates, based on the PDF file image, now that I see it close enough, $85? Really?
I've used one, although I don't recall where. I know I don't have one.

Pretty simple. On one end is a small stainless steed wire that gets inserted into the windshield washer nozzle, your extend the rest of the tool like a pointer a presenter might use, and "aim" the nozzle by moving the non-pointy end of the tool to the area on the windshield where you want the nozzle to point it. As I recall, the TDM has the template of the dimensions for the area on the windshield it's supposed to be aimed at.

Actually, I think that's just the needles for cleaning the nozzles. I believe this is the clone of the tool I'm thinking of, or maybe the actual one since the is a Hazet:

https://www.amazon.com/Hazet-4850-1-Nozzle-adjusting-tool/dp/B001C9XI7K/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1SK9IKANUFJR&keywords=HAZET+4850-1&qid=1680641255&s=hi&sprefix=hazet+4850-1,tools,119&sr=1-2

It's got the telescoping part on one end.

The reviews are pretty bad. I think you need to adjust with the OTC/Klann tool first, then carefully use the Hazet telescope to estimate squirt location on the glass.

Could be. I didn't dig down into the listing. Thanks! A reason to buy TWO new tools!!! :jono:

Even with the Klan tool, the cleaning end is very prone to bending - it is for cleaning. The heavier wire is for moving the nozzle around. These things get stuck in their positions so it isn't a bad idea to have the tools to adjust them once or twice a year.
