Last weeks rain left me with some wet carpet below the drivers B pillar, it appears the water came in along the rear door seal and worked its way over the sill. When I opened the rear door water came running out. Carpet was noticeably dark / wet directly below the door and down
in the low spot at the seat mount point.
I have also noticed the water will pool in the driver footwell if the car is pointed downhill. I suspect the sunroof drain or door seals but my seals are soft and pliable. The seal at the base of the window opening seems to have shrunk a bit, that could be the source of some water entry but I would think it would drain out the door bottom and not enter the car.
Anyone else have this experience?
