Weird forum rotating of photos?

There seems to be something new happening when I upload photos to 500E board using my Samsung phone Internet browser.

The photos get rotated clockwise 90 degrees. This isnt happening on Mig Forum which appears to use the same software so it seems like its specific to this site? Anyone else noticing this?

This is because your phone is rotating the images. You need to open the image, edit it and save it on your phone in the correct orientation. Then it will upload the image correctly to the forum. This also happens with my iPhone often times. It depends on the orientation of the phone when you take the photo.

There is an "image rotate" capability here in the forum software that admins can use when they see images that are rotated to a wrong orientation. It would be possible to make this capability available to all users so they can perform this action themselves, if desired.
