You'll have to speak with Maciej about that, but yes this is an eastern European version (instructions in Hungarian, Czech, Romanian, Polish, Bulgarian, etc.). That's fine, I don't care about the printing on the extinguisher .. only that it works OK.

If you want one in German, you will have to go to German EBay.

The Polish extinguisher is a 1kg unit, not the correct one for the W124. (1.3 kg is the correct one). Although it really does not make any difference, the later model Mercedes used the 1kg units, so buckets are available and they fit the W124 brackets.

I have a proper 1.3 in my E500; I got these two units for my C126, and for my E500 if/when the pressure goes down in my 1.3 ...my 1.3 is also now quite old.

By the way, what is the part number for the 1.0kg bucket, Rik?

Oh yea, I have 1kg units also. Those are the ones I would use if that need ever arose. I picked up a 1.3kg complete unit (with cream carpet cover) from Germany and its just eye candy.

Dave has the most complete list of all needed parts. I used his information for ordering all my parts and I even have some of his pictures on my site (by permission of course)

Ist dobja

Looks like it came with a wall-mount so even the garage can be safe now. 8-)

That reminds me, I need to get a couple of new extinguishers for my garage, mine are in the red zone. I called a couple of places about recharging them, and they said it's cost prohibitive and just to buy new ones, cheaper.

You might have luck if you ask the guys down at your local fire station, if you haven't already. The guys in my area sent me to a local gentleman who has been filling them for years.
