Did someone say Struts?
These guys were supposed to open for the Foos last winter, but cancelled / rescheduled at the last minute... replaced with Bob Mildew. Er, I mean Mould.
Now back to your regularly scheduled armrest lid popping.

I really think it will be advisable to get 100 units. Many people will still be looking for struts in the coming months / years they will not go to waste. As I said I will take 8 of them and other people will buy more too..... just sayin!

I will take one strut and 1 strap set. Going to paypal as soon as I post this note. How many miles is the warranty on the strut?

PAID $30.40 on PP. I will take one more set (one strut 2 straps) if there is a quota problem. I hoard when I can afford. I want them modified.
Trip ... you ready to make that jump to 100 struts? Make sure you hit up Jono & 5SR to see if you can sell them an additional 25-30 units.
GSXR should be able to take on another 5-10 units given the number of 124s he has, and his hoarding propensity.

Please keep the extra money I paid for the higher priced struts as payment to yourself for putting together the Group Buy. Hopefully the bit extra is some small compensation for the labor I know it takes to do one of these things. Or you can use the money to [slightly] offset the cost of the extra units you're "eating" the cost of.

Yes I have 2 of those ivanned struts spare too. However there were some posts recently that stated they failed very early and were not reliable.... I hope that is not the case. I have a flip top armrest to restore which will be detailed in the board. (Leather DIY) I will use one of these new struts in this current group buy .
The struts arrived today!
The strut hats are in fact removable, so this will hopefully make them easier to modify.
I will attempt to mock mine up this weekend, and show the results. The straps have not yet arrived from Naperville, so it will be a little bit before these guys are ready to march out the door.
If you have ordered struts and have indicated you don’t want them modified, and have also not ordered any straps I will likely be able to get your shipment out sooner. I will post my progress here when It is made!
