Thank you soooo much HakieNice video Stefan, congratulations with the win!
Thank you sooo much mister .I am humbled by your words. So ..i dont know what to say really.I like to hear about you honoring your dad .That is a precious thing indeed! .StefanYou are a very skilled man and deserve your wins! Gone but never forgotten, our parents live forever thru the work and passions we employ. I miss my Mom, but I get to honor my Dad next week when I repair a litany of items on my gift for him a few months back, a 94 E420 that he cherishes. Excellent work my friend and thank you for your contributions.
Heyyyy boss honcho .Thank you soooo much for kind words. That meaaans alot to me..and i love hearing about "your story " aswell.I can really relate to that alot. And yes..the memories stays always.I hope you are doing great by the wayHey @lowman -- I was just wondering about you not 3 days ago, and I'm happy to see that you are back. Congratulations on your third win. It's great that others consistently recognize the benefits of (and hard work involved with) Lowmania !
I'm sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I hope you have been dealing with it OK. Since losing my own dad 3.5 years ago, I got many of his tools that I wanted, a workbench he made himself, and other items of much sentimental value. And I enjoy using his tools (though many of them are redundant with my own) in my own shop because it makes me think of him. I hope you too are able to have and enjoy such memories. As Louis says, our parents are gone, but live on within and through us.
Thank you sooo much my friend. That means alotMy condolences for your father Stefan, take care and God bless.
heyyy mister.Yes..they certanly were a fast car back in the day..and it remained an icon .I remember when getting my first car..after getting my drivers license...A Sierra Sapphire Cosworth..at the age of 24...i payed one hell of a insurance premium.I remember it so well..i had to get a small loan to get the car..and i didnt even check the insurance premium before AFTER i had got the car..and i was blown away ..beeing told that the premium at that time was 2500 euros a year...these days i pay 800 euros for all 3 of my cars...the 500e..Cosworth..and my cheap winter daily Suzuki baleno. So yeah..When i got the first Cosworth..i also rang the different insurance companies...and one of them offered me a quote on insurance for the Cosworth..and that was 8000 euros...which was just another way of saying "We dont want you with that car as our customer".heheThe Sierra Cosworth was so fast and so easy to steal it was the favorite getaway car of bandits - and joy-riders - to the point where it was almost impossible to insure without breaking the bank. Such an awesome car.
Thank you soooo much dear Terry. Yeah..the MD Hughes 500 is my AIRRIDEStephan,
Black Beauty is Looking Good!!
Soooo, you commute to your private also REDHelicopter in Black Beauty?
And I posted that lowmania = kaput
Im here..not just that often. And yesterday..i had a "breakdown".I deleted ALL my youtube content.
Do not ask why...i just ended up doing it..and today..i regret like hell ---so...that is a big bummer.
And today...i sold my 3piece Amg wheels...which kinda sucks too...but...i needed a change for the car..which is why you can see the above post..where the car is sporting the more regular wheels aka Monoblock wheels.Love them to bits though..even though they do make the car abit less "standoutish"
Anyways...thank you for kind words people![]()
Hey mister.Well...nothing is sold until it is sold. But i have had offers here and there..and it was just fuelling my thoughts of selling it..to fund a new project...if i could choose..i would not sell it..but because of owning the car for "a long time"...not that long..but for me it is the longest ive owned a car...when it is at this point..there is not alot more to do with it..in a way...eventhough i consider a project car "never done"...there is also some other circumstances that leads me to think it can be the time to sell it in a way...But like i said..if i had unlimited funds ,,,i would never sell it.So...i will just have to see.If it sells..(and it does seem to be going in that direction with the interest ive been shown)---it is definetly going to a good home..and i will keep track of the car anyway. So i know where he"the car" livesHi Lowman, are you really selling the 500E ?![]()
no no no..not kaput...but the Blackbeauty might be sold...but it is not the end of Mercedes ownership..nor the end of lowmania. And I posted that lowmania = kaput
Thank you for kind words..as i do take these words in a good wayLowmania will never stop! It just takes different forms I'm sure that Ford is coming on well now
It has to be said the compulsion to delete stuff is a little odd. I recall this owners thread being deleted a few times and then coming back to life....
When a you tube video is deleted is it gone for good? Can it not be undone and brought back no?
Out of interest- why delete stuff like this? Negative comments (by losers) or what is it? It would be hard to build a you tube channel if the content disappears periodically
That would suck! What if this site was somehow deleted -- ?
thank you so much man.I apreaciate it.Oh yes..no doubt about that i could or not..it was more a question of "why the hell i decided to do such a stupid thing"...when i put so much into it.but i do reckon one learn from ones mistakes...so..many of the videos will be uploaded as we speak. Its been alot of Ford Cosworth videos lately...but im trying to put out some more 500e videos also .Greetings,StefanUnlike the tech industry and those people involved in it, which I would obviously include GVZ, I believe your YouTube content or any other content is YOUR content and you can delete it, duplicate it, sell it, do whatever you want because it is YOUR content. So I'm with you lowman. If you want to delete your YouTube stuff, so be it. The only comment that should be made is thanks for doing it and I enjoyed it.
Totally agree -- a person's content they post on social media belongs to them, and they can do what they want with it.Unlike the tech industry and those people involved in it, which I would obviously include GVZ, I believe your YouTube content or any other content is YOUR content and you can delete it, duplicate it, sell it, do whatever you want because it is YOUR content. So I'm with you lowman. If you want to delete your YouTube stuff, so be it. The only comment that should be made is thanks for doing it and I enjoyed it.
Another reason is that at some point it all felt just very "useless" in a way...well..not useless, pointless rather
i knowLowman, FYI... there is a YouTube setting where you can set a video as "Unlisted", which effectively removes it from public access, while not actually deleting it from YouTube. In the future, if you decide you want to pull your vids, don't delete them - set them as "unlisted" instead.
