SOLD 1995 E60 AMG, Signal Red/Red-Black, 70kkm, €0.15M (Alkmaar, Netherlands)

Re: FS: 1995 E60 AMG, Signal Red/Red-Black, 67K km, EUR 60,000 (Schweinfurt, Germany)

Hi, Do you have any more history/pics etc. on the 500E that was on German Car Net in 2011...?

Picture 40 appears to show a rear seat heater switch in the door card. I've never seen rear bun warmers on a 124. Picture 12 almost makes it look like the battery is on the left.

The rear seat heater was retrofitted. The cover in the left is a related stowage box which, when the lid is closed, gives a straight trunk floor. Was also available for the W201. Below a photo of such boxes. Sorry for the poor quality

They pop up very rarely on ebay. They have a b6 number but are NLA since as long as I know them. So at least 10 - 12 years

Headlight lenses are for left-hand traffic, indicating the car likely came from either Japan or the UK. Given the square exhaust tips, ashtray decal, and non-HWA EZL... I'm guessing Japan.

BTW, Imperial Red rolled out in 1994 with the facelift. It must have been special ordered in Signal Red.

The VIN sticker that would be affixed below the door striker on cars here in North America... is there a different location for it on RoW cars?

AFAIK, ROW cars only have the VIN in the engine compartment... on the metal tag by the hood latch, and stamped vertically on the firewall near the passenger side valve cover. I don't know if the VIN is marked anywhere else on ROW models.

Edit: For USA/Canada cars, the VIN is also on a decal in the driver door jamb, and a metal plate visible through the windshield, either on the A-pillar or ahead of the left dash speaker on later (93-up?) cars.
