Nope.... completely different.
The 500 spreads out quite a bit on the sides and is deeper in the back.

Probably just a lack of knowledge. They just don't know how different the 500e is from the rest of the line.

Many eBay sellers think that all W124 sedan body parts are interchangeable, and don't realize that the 500E has a number of unique body parts. It's annoying because it spreads misinformation that causes confusion...
