A/C repair

Hi,
I’m looking for some advice regarding the A/C system on a 1994 Mercedes-Benz W124 with the M119 engine.
The system has already been recharged with refrigerant and holds pressure, but the A/C compressor is not engaging. I have already checked the fuse, and it appears to be fine.
What would you recommend checking next? Could this be related to the A/C relay, pressure switch, or climate control module? I’m also having trouble locating the A/C relay on this model.
Any guidance on where the relay is located and what diagnostic steps I should follow next would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The AC compressor is controlled by the BM/GM (power supply module) in the CAN box. There is no separate A/C "relay" or KLIMA.

Make sure the pressure safety switch is working. You can short the leads to bypass this for test purposes.

Check for fault codes on the BM/GM.
