After many problems in family I had the time to finishe my 500E manual conversion project car. After 8000 KM done I can say it works. All system are working now, in autumn I tried the car without ASR and it was very tricky to drive in certain occasions. Now with the ASR it is much more easier. Now I can't remember how it was before.
The major difference is that it is more agressive to drive. You have to take more care of the power of the car as before. The 5 speed is good with the 5 th 0.87 similar to the E50 but that had 3.06 rear.
Now I am looking for power...after the years I suppose that my car lost some hp in ignition and injectors.
