you may need to just remove your and remake it, or send it to a member here who owns a shop and rebuilds them. @jono @jhodg5ck

I might add, if you remove yours, obviously remove the battery connections first. Then remove the connections at the CAN box, tie on a very long nylon string, one at least 10 foot long. Remove the metal bracket so it doesn't get stuck as you pull it down out of the engine bay, past the oil pan/transmission area. This will make install just a pita at the starter screw, but the install routing will be perhaps 10 minutes. Piece of cake....

Thanks!! The shop pulled it out together with the engine. My friend Ryan is going to r&r my starter harness.
