Brake cleaner - where to buy?

Looks like the days of $2-$2.50 CRC brake cleaner (red can 19 Oz) are over.

I need to stock up. Any good deals out there? Also, open to alternatives…
Cheapest i saw was $4.48 at Home Depot…

Yea, CRC took the lead from the supermarkets and now offer a slightly increased size can for $9.00

The lowest price locally near me had been Wal-Mart around $4/can, but I haven't checked price or availability in a couple of years. Worth a look though. Sometimes NAPA has it on sale as NAPA branded, but you have to catch it during the sale. The 19-oz can was ~$3/can on sale at least as recently as 2020, I'm seeing $6.50 list price currently (link) for the 19oz can, or $5.99 list for a 23oz 'bonus' can (link).

Otherwise, Zoro has it for $5/can and if you can find a valid 20% off qpon that knocks it down to $4/can, free shipping over $50. They won't ship to CA or NJ though. Zoro has switched to unique, single-use codes so it may be difficult to get a code. On rare occasions they have 25% discount codes but the 20% is most common.

EDIT: I have one 20% code for Zoro that I won't use before it expires on Dec-31. First one to PM me can have the code. :jono:

I just buy it by the case when I go to Home Depot. Waiting for sales and the like is too much of a PITA. If I can get it for $4-4.50 a can I feel like it’s a good price.

I’m sure it’s gone up over the past year or two due to inflation.

I can buy a gallon of brake clean locally for about £10gbp fwiw

I still keep a can or two on hand for smaller jobs.

But it seemed very wasteful to the enviroment to be throwing so many cans away before 🤔 So whilst I still think it's cheaper buying by gallon that isn't the only reason to change.
