Door striker

Hello all,

My drivers door sounds loose when I go over bumps (yes I know don't go over them). I seem to remember something about a new and improved door stryker that might be of help. Any ideas on this as a fix or anything else I can investigate.. thank you!

I would remove the door panel and check that everything is tight. Mine was also doing some clanking noises, turned out some of the bolts that hold the window frame/motor were loose as well as the third bolt that holds the door check. Don't know which of these was the culprit though...might be worth a shot to do some detective work with the panel removed.
