E60 AMG FOR SALE

There was a 1994 E60 Limited listed for sale in the May 2006 edition of Mercedes Enthusiast by The Hairpin Company.

"A very rare end of line limited example of the ultimate W124, featuring the AMG 6 Litre V8 engine. Fitted with every factory option, and having covered just 43k mls in the hands of 2 owners. This car is in superb, unmarked condition throughout with full MBSH, all books and invoices. £24,995".

It's for sale again! Same dealer. Doesn't say what they're asking .
Debadged and no AMG muffler.

Only 1 in the uk . If it's the same car the PO, who I've met, asked this company to sell it for him back in 2006 and it was sold to a "Tetrapac" heir for £20k back then.

Hello, I'm new to the board and I was referred here from MBWorld-forums... So to the point: I am looking to purchase a W124 E60 AMG and now I have found one.

Before jumping into buying the thing I would like to check if it is authentic E60 or converted E500. Can someone check VIN WDB12400361C078831? I've read this forum quite a bit now and I must say there's lots of very good information available from the members! Thanks in advance!

930, do you have an photos (or a link) to the E60? I assume it's for sale somewhere outside the USA...

:apl:

Fudgitive, thanks for checking the VIN. Glad to learn that the car checked out ok. (Fudgitive saw Your location and I used to live in dxb for 5-years - nice place with nice cars :) )

gsxr, yes I do have some pics. See below.

Unsurprisingly the car is from Japan and I landed up buying it with the notion that the car could be returned if it wouldn't have been original E60.

104k km's on the clock and looks quite ok to me. Not perfect of course.

No problem Mr 930... where are you living now if you don't mind me asking? There a a few Dubai people lurking here on the forum. Hmm, the interior is black leather the data card says grey? Also I would have thought that the trunk lid would have the wide number plate recess to suit Euro plates, but no biggie either could have been changed later on. What grade was the car given at auction?

We would all love to know what you paid for it should you care to divulge that info....
