I did my check around this week and found the rear foglight was no longer working.
I did a voltage check at the lamp socket and only got 6.6v so cleaned up the pins on the connector and still the same after cleaning up. I scraped away a small section of wiring back into the loom and checked again - still 6.6v.
The main light switch indicates the lamp is lit with the orange indicator lamp so I thought it would be the switch that was the problem.
Before I go further into this and buy a new switch, I heard that if the lamp failure detector unit is faulty, this would prevent the foglight working too and, this part is no longer available - is this true??
