Fog Lights Not Working

I feel a bit stupid having to ask this question (and I did search) but I cannot figure out how to get the fog lights to turn on. I assumed there would be a separate switch on the dash or they would turn on using the headlight knob but I have not been successful in getting them to turn on. It's possible that they just don't work.

Turn on the headlights and pull the headlight knob one notch out (towards the rear of the car). Two notches back and the center light of the knob should light and the rear fog should go on.

IIRC, just pull out the headlight knob towards you. If they're working, a indicator light should glow.
