GM module programming?

Nope, that's incorrect. There is NO programming needed for the BM/GM.
Actually there is no programming needed for any of the modules used on the E500E, all years 1990-1995. There's often a note in the EPC if programming is needed, and there's no footnotes for the 034/036 modules. I have no idea why the parts guy would tell you that, unless he's just used to newer models often requiring programming.
