Height when bonnet is raised upright?

I am finalizing my garage upgrade and I'm building a mezzanine in the main section for storage and to keep the heated air closer to the floor level where the activity is. My car is now stored in the low ceiling section so I can't raise the bonnet to measure the needed height. Anyone here having the height with the car resting on the ground, and up to the highest point of the bonnet?

I just measured on my car with the hood in service position, stock suspension and wheels. 2300 mm, but that will be tight. I'd go for 2400 mm to have some margin.

Hi Arnt! I can't actually help you with this measurement, but I think for other's reference, you should clarify if you want the bonnet height when it is opened "normally" - or when it is opened to its vertical state, i.e. with the limiters on each hinge unlatched?
Oh, maybe I wasn't clear but I meant when the bonnet is unlatched, in upright position, or shop position as Drew call it which sounds to be the correct description.

67 inches with hood open and 91 inches with hood (bonnet) in shop position. Add an inch for a stock suspension and an inch fudge factor. I couldn't come up with any clever measuring ideas where it sits.
Thanks Drew!
So around 93 inches/2,36 meter [7.75 ft] is a minimum. I initially planned for 2,7 meter [8.9 ft]: with a 2-post mid-rise lift and sitting on a lowered wheeled shop stool I need about 1,35 meter clearance under the car to work comfortably + the height of the car which ended up at approx 2,7 meter [8.9 ft]. Maybe I lower it a little bit. The garage inside ridge height is 5,1 meter [16.75 ft] giving a nice storage space up on the mezzanine.

Great info Thomas, and it goes along with Drew's estimate. Since I have plenty of height to play with it will end up around 2,6-2,7 meter. Then the bonnet can be kept in shop/service position and still lift the car to clear the wheels off the floor.
