Ignition problem

Installed new Beru (the made in Italy orange color one with EVL 1831 stamped on the side) rotor. Have now completed 7 drive cycles with no misfires.... Think I’ll claim victory
I pulled off nearly new OE rotors from the 92 500E, OE does not make a difference any more.
Also, get BERU caps not Bosch. I know some would argue for the Bosch but I had better results with the BERU.

I've been leaning towards Beru caps as well, with Bosch as second choice. People have reported issues with both of them, unfortunately.

I still think the best rotors are OE Doduco, but as with the caps, there's no guarantee these will last long term either.

Sure wish we could figure out why there has been a rash of ignition component failures with low miles / low hours, in recent years.

:scratchchin:
