Long time lurker, first time poster

Hi everyone,

I am not a 500E owner but use this site for a lot of info on the m119 in my 1990 500SL.

I used to to spend a lot of time over on another MB board, quit the hobby for a bit and now I am back.

Anyway wanted to make a first intro post and say thanks for the great resource.

Welcome, nice SL, BTW, seeing wipers on HID headlights is not common on USA SL's. Did you add the HID headlights or wipers?

HID wasn't available on the early SL's (129.066) so I assume it was a retrofit. Looks sweet though!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I haven’t checked in since posting bc I assumed I’d receive email notice of responses. Didn’t mean to seem uninterested in the replies.

They are not the hid lights, just euro lenses with a really blue colored bulb. This particular SL seems to be a US spec delivered to the US, exported to Japan, sent to Canada and I brought it to NY from Quebec.
