M112 Spark plugs? 1998 C280...

Cheers all!

Anyone can recommend a basic Bosch spark plug par number for these engines/cars? 1998 C280... I'm getting a little confused the abundance of the pages and pages of so called "available" plugs for these cars. Maybe BOSCH 6702? All I want is a basic, direct replacement, almost sure it was a off the shelf Bosch Platinum (not iridium or double platinum)

Regards,
D

See what the OE MB plugs are labeled, gotta be some photos out there of one of those 6 numbers. And yeah, IIRC it was simple/single platinums...

:shocking:

Thank Dave!

I've replaced them at 100K miles, about 6 years ago, for the life of me can't find the record of the part number, I just picked them up at the local PepBoys, they always had good prices on a packs. All I remember they were Bosch Platinum. I need to be better a documenting these things!

Regards,
D

EDIT: Almost think it was FR8DPP33

On my m113 they were an iridium Bosch plug.

Important note:

When using any iridium spark plug do not attempt to check the plug gap as they will be irreparably damaged.
