What exactly are you looking for? There is no 500E-specific service manual, just the following:

    1) W124 service CD-ROM
    2) WIS (Workship Information System)
    3) Introduction to Service, 400E/500E USA models

The Intro manual is just a very basic overview of the 124.034 and .036, it's not an actual service manual.

The Intro to Service manual published by MBUSA is pretty basic but as far as I know, the only 500E-specific official manual (it also covers 400E).

There is also a 1991 EURO Intro to Service manual (it is available in A4 size in British English as well as in other languages) that is a superset (double the size of the above) that provides similar, but more extensive information. It is worth getting if one can find it. There are a few tidbits in the US Intro to Service manual that the EURO manual doesn't have, and LOTS that the EURO Intro to Service manual has that the MBUSA manual doesn't have in terms of raw & applicable information.

    Cheers,
    Gerry

There's a 500E MBUSA "Intro to Service" manual for sale on eBay RIGHT NOW, ending in about 4-5 hours (6:58 PM Pacific Time, December 2nd).

    The item number is 400012473989

It's currently listed at $20.00 -- a good price for this manual.

    Cheers,
    Gerry

Hmm, I made my scans from a original BOUND Intro to Service Manual, so those sections are not present in the manual and I see no signs that they pages were removed. That is strange though, as I would expect a section on the brakes.

Thanks for pointing that out, guess I need a new copy.
