knock sensor harness is NLA from MB for the M119 i ended up ordering one for a S500 same stuff just longer wires.I believe the cable is coaxial type, and it would be difficult or impossible to replace only the connector, even if you had a new (or used) connector available.
If the knock sensor connector is damaged, you probably need to replace it. Should be available new from MB, but a PITA to replace as the engine mounts & brackets have to be removed.
Ah, that's right, I forgot! And you are correct, the early 140 sensor works fine. Glad you got it sorted out!
