Rusty trunk bits

I have a few rust bubbles on the trunk of my baby. It seems as though this piece (pictured) gave up the fight against corrosion and from there it crept. I have no idea the name of this part, but it's the bit that holds the bottom of the license plate trim plate to the trunk lid.

Can anyone help me find the part number for this? I would much rather replace it than try to refurbish this one, but all the knobs and clips are usable if I can stop the rust.

Worst case scenario, I'll soak it in the evap-o-rust for a week or so then sand and paint. This stuff worked wonders for my bike once I moved away from the beach.

I think the narrow rail is 124-750-00-35 but MB sure is proud of that item, $175 MSRP.

:spend:

After some google shopping, it can be had for $122 here which is still abnormally expensive for what amounts to an over-engineered clip. There is another piece above that which is called a "handle" part number mercedes 124-750-01-93. It's plastic part with 6 studs and two holes for attachment, and two holes where the license plate lamps reside. This lil beauty must retail north of $200, and can be found on google searches for the bargain basement price of $166...for a plastic part...US Dollars...

Mercedes tax is strong on the trunk components.
