Trunk Lid Hinge Stops

After removing the trunk seal I notice trunk does not close flat but gives me some slight spring tension from the hinge to body and I want to know if normal. See the lower picture of the gap. See lower picture.

I crawled into the trunk and saw these hinge stops. When I open my lid I get top bounce and no resistance so will replacing these help and if so how do I replace them? Looks like part number 202 750 00 26. Am I missing a stop?

Sorry the picture went side ways went uploaded.
See gap prior to lock-up (from hinge spring tension I believe). At this point I feel metal to metal touching and discovered the hinge provides back flex at it's endpoint. Slight push down closes lid with all lined up well. I never noticed it with the trunk seal on the car.
