I am having ignition problems after changing out the plug wires . Going through my inspection with the cap and rotor .I already corrected the mistake with the wrong wires on the cap . Hard crank with a constant knock sensor code popping up . Sometimes these caps , especially, are bad and cannot be seen with the visual eye . I haven't cleared pin 17 yet to read any new codes .
Can someone tell me if these caps looks suspension?

Those caps/rotors are beyond their service life. Highly recommend replacement, along with the insulators (especially if the back side is not dry), and oil seal behind the insulator as well.

That said: If the car was running ok (no misfires) before you replaced the plug wires, and now is misfiring, triple check all the wire routing.

A constant code for the knock sensor won't cause a hard start, but can cause low power under acceleration. Hard start can be related to the crank position sensor (CKP), or fuel pressure regulator (FPR).

Bad mistake, the cap was in a different slot and causing the small screws not to fully line up. Thx .Next is to replace the modulator since , something is leaking on the left side of the tranny.I am sure its the modulator seal.Still have to jack it up and see. Thx
