Will a strut brace from a 129 SL fit the 500E?Thanks

Pretty sure it will not... isn't the R129 narrower? Wiecher's Sport in Germany sells a strut brace specifically for the W124 V8 (400E / 500E).

I tried this as well. Definitely will not fit.

Yes, it is correct that only a W124 bar -- and specifically one designed to clear the V-8 engines -- is all that will fit our cars. And the Wiechers bar is the only one I know of on the market at the moment.
