Transmission Issues

Hello 500Eboard!

So far I'm loving my new 500E :)
My girlfriend and I are liking more than my modded '03 E55K :teufel:, the 500E is just so smooth!

Anyways, I just serviced the transmission fluid and filter. Fluid level is perfect max after being driven.

- Unfortunately, when I get on the kickdown switch on the freeway (let's say ~75 MPH), it downshifts, then around 5K RPM, it'll bounce as if I'm hitting the rev-limiter for a second or two then continue accelerating.

- Another issue I'm having is when I'm cruising around 30 MPH then floor it to the kickdown switch, the transmission slips so RPM is high and will stay high until it matches wheel speed then continue to redline. I'm not sure if this is a 3-2 shift or 3-1 shift, I am pressing the kickdown switch.

- Also just to confirm my RPM's at ~75mph is at 3K, is this correct?

Hope you guys can help me out!

Thank you,
AJ

1) This is an electronic / control issue. Need to clear all codes, drive the car, and see which codes return. You particularly want to check the EZL, E-GAS, and LH codes. Almost sounds like the NSS may be giving an incorrect gear position reading?

2) At light throttle, are all upshifts at low rpm, say under 2000rpm? If not, make sure the kickdown switch under the pedal (and, the "B" switch in the shifter) are not stuck on. Try test driving with the wire unplugged from the rear of the trans. What you describe is bad for the trans, you should get that fixed soon. The WOT upshifts at 6k redline should be smooth and quick with no flaring, if not, turn up the vacuum modulator.

3) Yes, 75mph will be about 3000rpm (±100rpm or so) with stock tire sizes and stock gearing.
