Transmission problem solved

Chaps,

Remember I was complaining about a clicking or ratcheting noise while backing up with the transmission in reverse? It was the transmission tunnel insulation touching the drive shaft. Fluid was clean, cooling lines were replaced and the noise is gone, it shifts perfectly.

Cheers,

Orazio

Orazio,

How did you solve the problem? Did you remove the transmission and re-apply or replace the transmission tunnel blanket? You dodged a bullet because some really bad things can happen if that blanket gets picked up by the spinning driveshaft....

Cheers,
Gerry
