There is no other option. Have to replace the upper en lower harness. Read a lot of stuff over here.
It is een 500E 1991 Dutch.
Upperharness found a part of the label.
124 543 052 looks like I mis a part of the number
Zeichnungsdatum 25.10.1990
There not al the same?

The lower Harness, cant see a number, but I got the idear there al the same?

Thanks a lot.

It's best to determine the part numbers by the VIN. If you send your VIN (or at least the last six digits) via a private message, we can get you the correct part numbers for your harnesses.

Lower harness should still be available for the .036, unless it just went NLA in recent weeks: MB Classic Center

Lower harness has been NLA for years on the .034 though.

For my 1994 E420, I sent the throttle body to a re-builder, the wiring from the TB to the computer had the usual deterioration and the car would not run properly and the cruise control was gone. The TB came back and works perfectly including the cruise control. A new TB from the dealer was more than $2000, the re-build was less than $300. You guys probably already know about this company (BBA Reman), but I was glad to find them.

There is a difference between the 420 and the 500 lower harness?
I just ordered the available components to try and rebuilt what I have in my 420
