3.27 differential and speedometer/odometer

Has anyone put a 3.27 differential in a .036?
Did you like the performance?
How did you reconcile the speedometer/odometer?

I have a 3.27 differential sitting in my garage that I was planning on putting in one of my w124 coupes, but I may reconsider putting in in the .036. I also have the matching cluster. Since this cluster is a speedo cable driven one, what do I need to do to adapt it to the .036?

That would Suck...IMHO. You would be pushing 37-800 rpm @ 80 mph. Guess if you lived in NYC and never left that could work OK...??

Thank you. I will scratch that one of the list. 3.27 might go in the w124 coupe, maybe. And maybe not even in the coupe. Currently I am enjoying the 5 speed manual overdrive doing 1800 RMP at 75-80 miles per hour.
