i disassembled the plastic connector housing to the temp sensor and unsoldered the two metal connectors from the wire leads. I then added a 1.5k ohm resistor in parallel to the leads by soldering one end of the resistor into each metal connector along with the wire leads.
Resistor pack of 5 cost $1 or $2 at radio shack. Took about 15 minutes. I use a small butane torch for such soldering. A pair of pliers will insulate your fingers
Got mine from Jim, too. Costs a penny, but they're well made.
Please note that a cool harness should only be used as a temporary solution. Unless you're in 35C+ weather, the viscous fan should be able to keep everything relatively cool.
Ron, I don't think there's any detailed pics of this mod. There's really nothing to it apart from a resitor at your choice which you can solder yourself on the CT plug. Or buy a fancy one from Jim, and as he says it's as simple as plugging your toaster.! Word of warning though , some purist are against this mod, so don't expect a bundle of joy if you decide to install one
