Hi,
Have one question.
Do E60 AMG Limited sill plates have AMG logo?
Or Mercedes Benz, as E500 Limited?

Thanks in advance,
MfG Hans

Thanks a lot,
So, originally E60 Limited has door sill plates with „Mercedes Benz“.
Ab Werk😊
Only if ordered...... we discussed that many times.

Okay. Than my question again. If E60 has codes 957 and 958, are this Mercedes Benz door sill plates included?
Or have to be ordered separately?
As i understood, they have to be ordered.

You mix 2 things. 958 code is Limited, door plates with Mercedes logo.
E60 Limited would have same plates.
E60 wouldn´t.

957 is AMG Technic package, ONLY ENGINE. And if first owner ordered AMG still plates you can see it only in the invoice, no codes, no nothing. Codes are ONLY for engine, rims and suspension.

So, 90 percent of E60 AMG still plates are made in Japan much later.....

Ok, so to be precise.
Mercedes E60 Limited (codes 957 and 958). This car (new) left factory in 1994 with Mercedes Benz door sills?

Thanks a lot for your answers. It was a great help.
Danke sehr😊
In fact, everything to do with AMG till late 90´s is a dark story.
Unless there is an original invoice, it is almost impossible to know if "plates" are original or aftermarket. This information is not saved anywhere else than in the first original invoice. So unless you're going to put E60 in museum condition and fight at auctions for top price AND you would have an original Invoice- it doesn´t really matter.
