A few of you remember my efforts to locate a pair of the Series 1 500E Euro-spec headlights. I was only ever able to find one (left hand/driver’s side. Gave up when I found a very good pair of the E500 variety. Decided function more important over form; I do lots of driving on dark country roads. I think they look just fine.

Nice! Looks like you have Lamin-X on there too, which is critical these days.

You can get some high-output bulbs if you need more light for the dark country roads. Search the forum, although the Osram Hypers are NLA, there are some replacements with roughly equal output.

I do indeed have Lamix on them as well as the Euro W116 and R170 SLK320. With these lenses mostly NLA you are quite right about protecting them.
