Difference in E500 RHD and LHD headlight lenses.

I've posted about that as well a year ago, post #12:
Maybe that post could be moved over here.
I don't recall seeing it, figured a nice side by side shot makes it easy to determine LHD or RHD when part numbers are not available.

That's great, Rik!
It's actually very few pics around of a side by side comparison of RHT vs LHT lenses. I've copied & pasted my post from the other thread as well to keep the information gathered on the topic.

It is a different low beam graphic due to different fluting/pattern on the headlight lens. I've put up a comparison for the left headlight, and the placement of the circled section on the lens is the easiest only way to determine the difference visually.

LHD (left hand drive) --> RHT (right hand traffic)
LHD vs. RHD low beam graphic (1).jpg

RHD (right hand drive) --> LHT (left hand traffic)
LHD vs. RHD low beam graphic (2).jpg

So, when you stay in front of the car looking at the headligths - if that triangular pattern/section is to the right on the lens - it is also for RHT (right hand traffic). And vice versa for LHT.
