Hello. My name is daniel and
I live in the Netherlands and I have a mercedes slk that I will use for motorsport. the plan was to make an m119 engine in the mercedes. to get some extra power from the engine I am looking for a set of individual throttle bodies. I only have the problem that I am only 16 years old and just go to school. and that is why I have no money to buy a new set of 3 to 4 thousand euros. can anyone help me?

You want a setup with 8 individual throttle bodies, correct? I don't know of anything that won't cost a few thousand € / $ / £.

I assume you know ditching the stock intake manifold with long runners will kill low-end torque, and the short-runner individual setup will primarily make best power at high RPM...

:v8:

Well, if you want to rebuild throttle bodies I have two that have the doomed failed wire insulation. Of course you'd have to pay for shipping and all that from the US.

I think KS is talking about electronic throttle actuators...not ITB's.

I am pretty sure I'm the only fellow here (is NIIBE-San a member, IDK?) who has ITB's on an M119. Sadly, there is No cheap alternative unless you make something yourself. The ATPower ITB's are much better after working with them a bunch to overcome a number of issues they had with the first set.. Even once you have them, getting them to Work and managing coolant etc, etc will take Time and Money.

Sorry to put a damper on things..:(

I cannot imagine that. there is always something to invent there would probably be someone in this world who wants to sell them for little :)

you just have complete sets of sun m119 engine .. what the exact size is for that I don't know either .. which size do you mean? then I can still measure it

Hi Jono, I would be interested in your experience with the ATPower ITBs. Have you done any dyno tests or do you have any information regarding HP and torque curve? I have a M119982 5.0 that I will use with an aftermarket ECU. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Matthias
