I once owned a 500e that was had it's own thread on here after it made it way to an insurance auction. I wasn't really pleased about the speculations about how it ended up that way but oh well. I now own a 1992 400e. Thank you for having me.

"I honestly don't know the whole story, but what I heard is that the car was hit while it was parked next to a curb. I'm not quite sure the damage matches the story though." He could've asked me himself. He knows me.

You should've heard the other nonsense while the car was sitting at said body shop. Everyone who worked there knew it was my car yet someone was talking out of their ass about tell the owner I'll give him $2k! The insurance company gave me $21k. Granted the chances of me ever owning another one are now comparable with me winning the Publishers clearing house sweepstakes.

Love your website btw, Dave. I've been referring it to it for years!
