Here's the ad on Autotrader:

I looked at it this morning. Overall, it's quite clean. The engine compartment looks immaculate. The car is absolutely bone stock except for the chromed wheels. The paint is very good, but there are a number of chips on the leading edge of the hood (next to the grille), and it could use new fog light lenses. The interior is good, but not excellent. The console wood has a couple of cracks. It drives very well, tranny shifts nicely, everything seems to work with the exception of the rear roller blind. Engine temp was parked at 82?C, but it was 45?F outside. I didn't have time to go over the car with a fine-tooth comb, but in general, it's a pretty nice example. The owners are really nice folks, too.

They haven't had this car long, have they? I seem to recall this car being for sale on Ebay in the last year or 18 months, for a lot less $$$.

Gotta be a different car. I don't think it's been for sale before (publicly), ever. The current owners have had the car for about 8-9 years, and I don't think they've ever listed it for sale previously. When they bought it from their friend with only 7,000 miles on the clock, I don't think it was advertised anywhere, it was a private deal. AFAIK there are only two owners (1994-->2000, and 2000-->present).

:wormhole:

I don't think it ever sold, but I'm not sure. If you want the seller's name & email address, drop me a line...

:)

Just found out today that the sellers claim to have sold it for $17,400. Hopefully the new owner will show up on the forums here.
