Headlight Wiper Panel Availability

It appears that the right side headlight wiper panel for US facelift cars, 124 889 18 63, is NLA from MB.

The left side, 124 889 17 63, appears to still be available.

These would be good parts to get from wrecking yard cars, if you see the panels in good condition.

The pre-facelift USA headlight wiper panels, 124 889 14 63 (right) and 124 889 13 63 (left), both appear from MB to be NLA.

I placed an order for spare US-spec facelift under-headlight panels, along with a spare rear transmission mount for my parts stock.

Both of the headlight panels seem to be available and in the Robbinsville, NJ warehouse.

I will report back if/when I have both of them in hand. I expect to have the parts mid-week.

I'm going to have the spares painted DB199, and then Lamin-X them.


Confirmed with MB that BOTH are available and will be provided to me this week.

If they're the same as the ones on the .034, they're still available. I just ordered and received a set a couple of weeks ago and was told there was plenty of stock.

I'll check numbers in a minute.

The facelift panels should be the same for the E500 and the E420 (1994 & 1995).

MB Classic is saying one is available, one is not.

Facelift panels are the same for all facelift 124's.

I thought this might happen to hence I hoarded about a dozen of these headlamp trims and motors. (None are for sale btw)

Another good item to snag at the parts yards when you can for a couple $
